November 21 Selfish Selfish –adjective 1. devoted to or caring only for oneself; concerned primarily with one's own interests, benefits, welfare, etc.; regardless of others 2. characterized by or manifesting concern or care only for oneself: selfish motives. I have never and am not devoted to or caring ONLY for myself. I have/am not concerned PRIMARILY with my own interests, benefits, welfare, etc. I've been caring for the ones I love and putting my own needs at the bottom of my list. Always! I am not a selfish person in any form! September 13 cooking, traveling, love making...“These violet delights have violent ends And in their triumph die, like fire and powder. Therefore love moderately: long love doth so: Too swift arrives as tardy as too slow." September 06 What do we want?Do you know what you want? I mean knowing exactly what you want for your life. Do your goals and needs ever change from time to time? What about love? Are we really supposed to wait for the "right" one to show up and be happy together rest of our lives？What if the right one doesn't show up? What if the "right" one changes to the "wrong" one? How many right ones are actually out there? After talking with my dear friend Vivian heart-to-heart about love, about the purpose of life, I am certain about what I want at this point of my life but more confused about what I want in general. She said we're just XBOXes, we are just whole bunch of cards that are being played by gods. Are we just cards?    |
